POWER FLUSHING

Powerflushing central heating system to remove sludge and debris. Improves boiler life, efficiency and heat output from radiators

First flush - years of sludge and magnetic debris

From right to left - first flush with fresh water (sediments settled out); second flush with cleaning chemical; final flush with fresh water (no sediment)

CENTRAL HEATING & HOT WATER COMPONENTS

BEFORE - Broken and leaking 3 port valve leaving home without hot water or central heating

AFTER - New 3 port valve, diverting hot water to taps, to central heating or both.

BEFORE - 25 year old hot water cylinder, no separate control over heating on ground and first floor, trailing cables

AFTER - new and larger cylinder, 2-port valves to separate ground and first floor heating circuits, debris filter and re-routed wiring.

BEFORE - hot water feed and expansion cistern in loft choked with collapsed insulation and brown sludge. Sludge can enter and clog central heating pipework, boiler, radiators and valves.

AFTER - clean F&E cistern.
